Washer types and access
Front-load, top-load, integrated and washer-dryer machines need different access and checks. Tell us which functions fail. For an integrated washer, keep the furniture door and cabinet in place until access is agreed. A washer-dryer washing normally but not drying needs that separate fault described.
Spin, drainage and water-filling faults
A washer that will not spin can have a load, drainage, lock or drive problem. Water left in the drum is different from damp clothing after a completed cycle. If the machine does not fill, record the code and whether the problem began after plumbing work. Do not assume a drain-pump replacement from standing water alone.
Leaks, noise and door-lock problems
Note whether water appears at the door, drawer, supply or during draining. Record a banging drum, scraping sound or locked door without forcing parts. Drum supports, pumps and locks require model-specific inspection. Do not use a leaking machine or try to bypass its safety lock.
Model codes and supported brands
For Samsung, Bosch, LG, Siemens and the other brands listed below, send the complete model and code rather than a shortened brand name. The same symptom can have different causes across models. Independent repair is separate from manufacturer warranty service.
